Basic Rolex Sub question

Have a look at Lionlife group. Vik Puaar owns it. I sold my Sub (ceramic) to him. He allways (usually) has one or two Subs kicking around. They certainly are in demand.

Oh and on that note. Rolex in Gleneagles have a New No date Sub in their window for 5450.00 . We were up there last weekend. Be quick!

I'm after a Sub with date and Goldsmiths Birmingham said up to 12 months and WoS said 6-12 months.

Anyone know of any one in stock?

I just called Preston and they haven't got one in stock. No waiting list there too so I'm the only one on it. They also said that they could potentially keep the warranty card for 6 months off me and asked why am I calling them when I have several AD's closer. I told them why (saw the post on here saying they have one in stock).

Also not allowed to be put onto the waiting list for a Hulk there. Strange, maybe they think I'll flip them on again

Jump on a flight to Las Palmas GC, there is a hulk in the window of the Rolex Ad at list!! I asked about the Daytona ceramic they have yet to see one in store and have people waiting !!

Is a year really that long to wait? and it's 'up to' a year you could get a call in a month, I imagine lots of people might be on their list but when they get the call they don't have the money or just don't want it any more, or they just say 'a year' to weed out the instant flippers that have read something on the internet about making money from Rolex's.
I'd just pop a deposit down and wait for the call, I bets it's sooner than you think.

Both shops didn't take any form of deposit.

Just name, address & contact number on a form and the watch I was after. Didn't fill me with confidence.

I bet those forms just get filed in the bin then, all the stock when it comes in goes out to their regulars/mates, the secret is how to get on the regulars/mate list.
