I want to make the bracelet of my PO GMT half a link larger. Anybody know how I can do this? I can't work out whether there's an extension system under the buckle or not. Putting a full link back in will be too much so I don't want to do this. Thanks!

1/2 links are available https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OMEGA-GENUINE-SEAMASTER...
do you have a half link on the braclet already ?
that could be swapped for a whole link?
lots on Ebay 1/2 and full links
The clasp does not have any adjustment on the Ceramic PO.

Does it not have the 6 position adjustment in the clasp? I ask because my Ti Planet Ocean does - from the tightest to the loosest position is about equivalent to a full link, on mine it is on the inside of the clasp, same side as the diving extension and has a large 'PUSH' engraved on it...

Thanks for your replies. Here's my bracelet, are the red circled links half-links?

There doesn't seem to be any adjustment in the clasp:

It's a true daily and I work in a harsh environment so it has picked up some grazes along the way. Adds to the character I say and I don't plan on selling it so I don't feel I need to keep it mint! The head is in better condition (see my Alpina photo in the wrist check thread).

That said, I bought it from Iconic Watches and they adjusted the bracelet. I was never particularly happy with how they did it particularly as in my first week of wearing the watch one of the screws popped out completely and had I not been vigilant it would have dropped straight onto concrete from standing height!

I wouldn't mind trying the rubber strap but to buy from Omega costs a ridiculous amount of money so I can't see myself spending that for an experiment.

So sounds like the plan is to dig the spare links out of the box and swap out the left link for a full one.

Thanks!

Agreed, the adjustable clasp looks like this;

Smallest setting;

Largest setting;

There are six 'click' positions, very useful as it gives the fine adjustment up to a full link's worth, you would think they would use the same system across the model range?

Rather than buy the rubber you could get the new adjustable clasp and swap it out with the old - I think all new Po's come with the new clasp as standard and it's a direct replacement for the old. I 'think' a clasp is circa £300-£400, not cheap but if you intend to keep and will fit better then may be worth it!

Sorry to hijack this thread but has anyone got a bracelet for a 20mm PO for sale at reasonable money?

Have it on a Gecko bracelet at the moment looks fine but just not the same.

Could possibly let the rubber black orange stitching (leather look) one go in part ex as I doubt it will ever go back on that.

Thanks
Mark/Hawk

I got around to swapping out the half-link for a full one. Much more comfortable now. Thanks for all your help. Happy New Year!

My PO is the old 2500 movement and had its old clasp swapped out for the new, it’s worth doing all day long if you intend to keep it. The good thing as well is you can fine tune the setting to when your wrist is hot or cold
