Cheap too biggrin £28 or so plus a couple of pounds delivery: https://www.ukwatchstrap.co.uk/Fluco-Stingray-Blac...

I have to say it was an utter arse to fit though. It looks flexible but really isn't, and the skin/hide/whatever it's called is pretty thick. The polished bits feel almost as hard as stone and the spring bar on this Orient fits quite close to the case. Glad I didn't ram the Bergeon through my finger getting it on; fortunately no scratches to the case.
Stingray is very tough stuff. My super duper motorbike gloves have stingray areas where the gloves would meet the road if I fall off.

It's why I bought one - they're quite unusual and a very interesting maker too.

Harry F (of this parish) recently bought one - a lovely thing.

Hmmmm that butters no parsnips for me. Breguet has an immense history but that looks like a Victorian railway clock in miniature more than a dive watch.

Yesterday (when the 'photo was taken), earlier this morning, and most probably part of tomorrow morning. I'm not the keenest of gardeners TBH however there's satisfaction to be had once jobs are done.

Not really a dive watch, I think. The 'Marine' refers to the fact that Breguet as once a supplier of chronometers to the French navy.

Given that I'm into steam locomotives I guess that's why the Victorian railway clock look appealed to me. smile

I was looking forward to this Save The Ocean edition Seiko Turtle arriving; but had to order an appropriate NATO before it was delivered. Just right smile

Not a dive watch and not intended to be one or look like one. Waterproof with the classic Breguet look. smile

Exactly. It's styled very much along the lines of 1800s marine chronometers. Historically they had the highest requirements for accuracy as they were essential for calculating longitude.
Marine chronometers were where the great British horologist John Harrison made his name.

Not actually as common as they seem. They feel common, but mostly, it's just one person posting the same watch over and over again.
