Wrist Check - 2018
Discussion
As mentioned in the 'incoming' thread, my new job / christmas present to myself arrived quicker than expected, and....
This may sound stupid but it looks so much better than I expected
As always my sincerest apologies for the whole 'wrong wrist' thing
EDIT: Also, how does thumbsnap make such a mess of rotation
And for the lume fans:
Oh FFS thumbsnap.

Nice looking watch and the strap is the right colour, but a smooth finish would look better to my eye.
Cheers. I've tried a couple of darker straps and I'm probably going with lizard skin, which suits the 50s look of the watch. There's a couple of pics in the Under £200 thread. As also shown on the "incoming" thread...
Bit of an impulse buy in Birmingham on Wednesday - pre-owned but un-worn 2018 Black Bay Bronze. It has already started to patinate slightly and has a tiny mark on the bezel near the '50' marker, but I got a hefty discount from the new price. My intention is to get it scruffy and worn-looking, so the tiny mark is pretty inconsequential (I'll probably do more damage the first time I knock it against something)
I wasn't sure whether 43mm would suit my skinny wrists - I think I'd struggle to go any bigger, but it feels quite comfortable
Best of all, Wifey was with me and sanctioned the purchase as an early Christmas pressie to myself (although she said she preferred it to my Sub, which hurt a bit...)

It's amazing what a bit of slave labour can do.

Next we have an Eaglemoss special. Quite like this actually. Very legible. Can't remember what the magazine cost.

It’s a good looking thing, but I wouldn’t know which setting to use for defrosting chicken.Quite possibly my favourite dial and handset combo of all the watches I own
