Nice looking watch and the strap is the right colour, but a smooth finish would look better to my eye.
Cheers. I've tried a couple of darker straps and I'm probably going with lizard skin, which suits the 50s look of the watch. There's a couple of pics in the Under £200 thread.

As also shown on the "incoming" thread...

Bit of an impulse buy in Birmingham on Wednesday - pre-owned but un-worn 2018 Black Bay Bronze. It has already started to patinate slightly and has a tiny mark on the bezel near the '50' marker, but I got a hefty discount from the new price. My intention is to get it scruffy and worn-looking, so the tiny mark is pretty inconsequential (I'll probably do more damage the first time I knock it against something)

I wasn't sure whether 43mm would suit my skinny wrists - I think I'd struggle to go any bigger, but it feels quite comfortable

Best of all, Wifey was with me and sanctioned the purchase as an early Christmas pressie to myself (although she said she preferred it to my Sub, which hurt a bit...)

Liking this currently
I like the overall style, but the dial markings offend my OCD - is this method of numbering really "a thing"?

I reckon it would look great with minimal dial markings - more of a Bauhaus look & feel

It’s a good looking thing, but I wouldn’t know which setting to use for defrosting chicken.

JAYB are you high-end Russian prostitute?
To be Russian is dream. My life sad, work for potato or watch.

In truth, are we all not prostitutes? At least until inevitable death. Sad.

But, also release.

Next we have an Eaglemoss special. Quite like this actually. Very legible. Can't remember what the magazine cost.

I like the way it says "Stainless Steel Back" on the see-through back.

It's really quite simple. On the lower part of the display the DE stands for de, the C for chicken and the FR for frost. So defrost chicken for 14 hrs. biggrin
