Lovely! My grail watch. Been looking for a birth year one but struggling so might just have to go new and hope my AD hasn’t got a waiting list!!

Means you’ll probably need to offload some others to give this the wrist time it richly deserves. Thought of trying a jubilee or NATO bracelet?

Wear in good health!!

If you want to unload on one of these, make sure you buy from a reputable vendor.
I can even put in a good word. I know several of the major retailers for this model & can push for a good deal for regular posters in this forum to make the dream a reality.
Make sure you wear it discreetly. You don't want it to be too obvious a purchase, more a subliminal message of effortless room dominance.

Wear it in good health.

Any wrist shots, perhaps it in front of your Porsche steering wheel?

It does say it's waterproof to 50m

That's a keeper. Hang onto the box and papers too.

Julie at the Bond St store sorted me out with one, because I'm a good customer. They kept the boxanpapers to stop me flipping it though.

Mine's slightly better than yours because it has the drilled lugs.

Congratulations, few watches show you’ve made it more than these.

Did you have to buy other watches to get on the waiting list?

I’ve got one with my school crest and moto on the display case back and another piece with my scouts troop colours on it. Both limited editions that you have to be invited to buy by Hugo and chaz at the Henley office.

Very understated but still expensive looking imho.

You never really own these timepieces though, you’re just a custodian for future generations.

Wear it in good health. .

Sure, it's a fine timepiece, BUT....does it fly as an investment?

You really ought to have gone for the non-date.

What are the residuals like and how long did you have to wait?

Can you get a better discount if you buy in Dubai or from Heathrow in duty free?

What’s the case size and how does it wear?

I'm not sure that's genuine. The 'C' in Casio doesn't look quite right.

It's genuine.

That is known as the "Flat C" version, and is a must-have for serious collectors.

There are probably less than 4,000,000 "Flat C" models in circulation, and the high price reflects this.

Guaranteed to lose no more than £10 during the lifetime of the watch.

The red 50M on the face marks it out as MILSPEC as worn by special forces (Taliban).
