Vostok Europe Watch

I've been very lucky to be able to get a Vostok Europe Anchar Chronograph for 350 quid
Down from 600
It was lucky I was flicking through the TV Channels and saw it on idealworld TV
I think its going to be a great watch as its an Anchar

Ive had Rolexes still have a Yachtmaster buit use a TAG for everyday use Tag Link but this I think will make me very popular with the ladies and really impress people

Well, I googled, and it's horrendous. I can envisage the only situation where I might be tempted to wear such a thing is if I were given the opportunity to fist Diane Abbott: each to their own though.

I may be in the minority here but I actually like that watch and others that Vostok make.

I have an Oris Pro Diver and would see the Vostok as in some ways comparable at a much lower price.

I'd definitively not be averse.

Cheep nasty .. Gopingly unattractive and probably high maintenance,

It just shows how personal opinion is such a factor.

I think this is the watch he’s referring to.

In my opinion it definitely isn’t cheap or nasty.

I’d be very interested to hear from someone who knows about these things ( I mean really knows) as to how it compares to an Oris, Ball or Hamilton?

I quite like the functionality of it. As for picking up members of the opposite sex, certainly, at night you should get a nice following of frisky female moths.

It should be noted that the OP has a loooooooong history of discussing desire's of the female form, Therefore this thread can only go one or two ways ... ribbing the OP or ribbing the watch

If the OP has Rolex and Tag's then binning £350 on a watch is what it is ... a £350 purchase

Personally I like an obscure or unusual watch therefore this should hit the target,

Unfortunately to me it doesn't .... Looked at Vostok automatic's and 24Hr dials but ended up getting an Invicta
Regarding this - a Quartz Chronograph with Miyota movement, Pass me a Seiko or Citizen
An Oris, Ball or Hamilton - another league compared to this .... Also another league in price

Oh don't get me wrong...
I'd sooner have the Vostok on my arm than Dianne .... It's just that both fill me with dread

Well it arrived on Friday.
It is going back it looks ok ish but rather odd The strap is uncomfortable.
I feel I am judging it a little harshly as if I know too much about it and comparing it to other brands
