Good Morning,

What is the consensus that the Sea Dweller will loose or keep the red writing for 2018 and moving forward?

Also is the White Gold GMT Pepsi still available to order (not that I can afford it)? I used to se them regular for sale new but recently I have seen one for a while and wondered if it was getting fazed out?

No idea but I heard rumours that the 'Hulk' will not continue in 2018.

Given that supply of the SD43 Sea Dweller is still difficult to get - I would be very surprised if they dropped the Red Writing for 2018.

Again unlikely - not sure where you have been looking but the White Gold BLRO is often seen in Rolex ADs. Slow seller and easy to get - I would be surprised if it was phased out.
In terms of rumours for Baselworld 2018, by coincidence I was chatting to a Rolex AD yesterday about this.
The usual rumours still seem to be there e.g.
- Deepsea Blue discontinued.
- fitting of the new updated Rolex calibres to appropriate sports models to give 70 hour power reserve.

I have not heard any rumours of the Hulk being discountinued and did speak about this with the Rolex AD.
Rolexpassion report is talking about the Cellini range being updated with a new Dual Time Chronograph.

I fancy a 36mm Oyster Perpetual with a plain black face.

WG GMT BLRO is still available, and can't see it getting deleted.

And yes, I'd have one in a heart beat if I could afford one!!

Yes, that does seem to be the rumour gathering pace, and seems likely given the similar reports in the way the SD4000 was last year.
Rumour is production of the LV ended before xmas.

To be fair, these sort of rumours come up every year without fail. A month or two ago my favourite local watch shop said they are looking to acquire Hulks not just because they sell quickly but also because this rumour has been doing the rounds in earnest this year.

And most dismissed the similar rumour last year about the SD4000, but that turned out to be true.
The Hulk rumours have come about in the same way, so wouldn't be too keen just yet to dismiss it as 'just a rumour'......

well whether it gets discontinued or not, seems the dealers are already price gouging in advance! theyve gone up by 1k in the past few weeks. was offered one for 7200, and there were BNIB for 7k-7.4k on chrono. Now there are well over 8k.

Hmm - yes. Whilst I have not heard the rumours that the Hulk is being discontinued. The prices and availability of pre-owned ones does appear to have shot up. Watchfinder have quite a few and most of the newer ones are advertised at over £9K. Do they know something or are they just guessing?

They don't know for a fact, only Rolex know that, not even their AD's will likely know either, they are all speculating based on an educated guess based on past events.

I don't dislike the colours. It continues the original GMT heritage, but differentiates the PM version enough from the old S/S version.
