Well, it's arrived.

And it's lovely - strap was horrible so replaced this, but case and crystal is perfect. Not sure how old it is the papers are all in Russian but typed on the document is 101094, so I'm guessing this is just over 25 years old.

It is small, but not ridiculously so - 35mm watch on my 6.75" wrist fits just fine.

hehe my wrists are comically limp, weak, petite minimalist - I can easily wrap my thumb and index finger round my wrist with the fingertips touching. It means a lot of watches are out of bounds - 43mm and up look a bit daft but there are a number of smaller pieces that work.

Arrived yesterday

well under budget at £97 to the door.
Nixon Regulus as worn by Linda Hamilton in Terminator dark fate.

Some really nice features...not quite a G shock but not far off.

I really want a mecha-quartz chronograph. The SSB031 is very high on the list, really nice - but recently toppled from the no1 spot by the SSB027. Love the green hint to the hour markers. It is, however, rather hard to find.

There's better VFM in one of the daytona / aquaracer homages that have a VK63 movement but I love the design of the Seiko ones

Finally got a new battery in this today. Definitely in the sub £200 bracket but I quite like it.

This arrived today. A Casio Pro Trek to replace a G-Shock that had seen some fairly hard use over the years. $130 via Amazon.
