Any links as I can't see any sale items on their website?

Steve
The sale items are currently only visible to people that have bought before - they will go "public" at midnight tomorrow

Strange as I have bought from them before. Guess I'll have to wait until tonight then..

Posted to the wrist check thread, but thought I would share it here too... Bought this strap for £4.80 for a incoming komandirskie, but the watch is still in customs, so thought I would pop it on one of my others while I wait... Think I might just keep it on here!

It's midnight tonight - I've never bought from CW but do subscribe to the newsletter and that's how I got access to the advance sale

Admired these for a while.
John Lewis sale for £73 and my dear wife bought it as a late Xmas present.

Nice one. Is it a stop to go?
I've fancied one of those for some time but will have to resist for a while.

Just bought a few as a treat. Starter set really not owned a watch for years. Always been a fan of Pulsar and Skagen. All for under 100, well 87 quid to be exact.

There are some really nice stuff, gutted I have to wait till the end of the month for birthday...

I did nearly end up in the canal as I was paying too much attention to my phone and not the mud and my dog who decided to stop in front of me...lesson learned.

And again on black Friday, based on another Jody/Just One More Watch review, and against my usual sensibilities, I bought a Pagani Designs submariner-esque homage - Miyota auto, sapphire glass, ceramic bezel, arrived in 10 days, absolutely zero lume, all for £45. Its fairly bloody accurate so far and the quality is very decent except for the safety clasp on the bracelet - it fell off as soon as I lifted it out of the box, one of the holes is too big and the springbar goes too far through frown They're trying to offer a partial refund I think, hard to tell? I've asked for a replacement part or to return for a refund, it's useless with a duff clasp.

After much to-ing and fro-ing they agreed to send me a new clasp but I had to pay $1.80 for postage/fees, not best pleased about that TBH but hey ho - they posted it on Hogmanay on the bloody slow boat so who knows when it'll get here, but I've managed to get it to a wearable state currently provided I'm careful putting it on/taking it off - bargain for the money, pretty bloody accurate too.

I've just been and had a look at those Christopher Ward watches, I'd heard of them but hadn't really taken any notice, I must say they look and sound very good!!!

Bought myself a little present over the Christmas break...

Accurist diver on a rubber strap, £130 at hsamuel, was around £80 at the time.
https://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/d/3419045/accur...

But i got mine from Very for £58 in the sale.

Pictured here on the original rubber. Dial has a blue sunburst but can look black viewed straight on, lighting dependant.

I didn't mind the rubber but it kept wanting to rotate on my wrist, so i have ended up swapping the nato on another watch over to this one.
IMG_20200106_095745

The Rotary (bottom row right) that previously wore the Nato has gone back on its bracelet and had a new battery fitted as it stopped pretty much bang on the new year, was a fiddly bd to replace mind...
The 'collection' as it stands at the moment, stuff in the drawer is hardly ever worn...

Morning.
I'm sorry but I don't know what a stop to go is....
I spent all day yesterday wearing it, and it's simplicity grew on me. A keeper for sure!

Bought at an auction for £70. Arrived with original receipt from H Samuel valued at £315, less than a year old. Replaced the battery and it worked!
Has lots of stuff on it, such as an altimeter, a barometer and lots of other stuff I will need should I ever take up mountaineering...…..
First watch I have bought that has a light too.

It's a quirky movement that actually runs slightly fast on the second hand then pauses at the 12 o'clock briefly each minute. Mimics what the actual train station clocks do.
Their cheaper models tend to just have a 'normal' second hand from what I've read.

I have been tempted by them in the past...

Nothings wrong with an Accurist diver! I’m wearing my quartz Accurist on a cheap leather NATO this week, and it’s rather nice.
