Arrived today Seiko 5 SNZG13K1 42mm with 22mm lugs which is a good size for me. £60 plus post, bracelet full length which was better than I hoped and I’m struggling to find a mark on it... another bargain from cash converters!

Please excuse the ragged sleeve, domestic duties today.

I've just seen a watch a rather like on cash converters. I've not purchased anything from them before - have you or anyone had any experience or any idea of how they handle returns if the watch is not as good as you'd hoped. The uploaded pictures are poor as is the description and the shop holding the watch is not nearby.

Thanks

Yeah that is a lovely looking thing indeed!!!
Unfortunately I've overspent on "other things" this month so Mrs Bobbers has genuinely put her foot down and said no more until the end of March, buying a watch, two expensive bottles of whisky and two Lego sets in a month may have just pushed her over the edge!!! boxedin

Fortunately I haven’t had to return any of the three watches I’ve bought from them, they’ve been excellent. Service has been spot on every time, delivery has been within three working days and signed for.

They do say 14 day no quibble...might be worth asking for some more photos, they do seem to struggle with focus and talking to them might put you at ease about the process.

I suppose this thread is the best place to ask the following question, rather than starting a brand new thread.

I am looking to buy a green dial automatic divers watch.

Metal bracelet
Automatic movement
Must be able to take a knock
Cost at most 250 pounds

Thanks in advance for any advice.
As previously mentioned you CANNOT go wrong with the Seiko 5 dive watch.

They’ve recently updated them and I think the newer style with the ‘Superman’ 5 will just creep into budget...

But you should really seek out the older style, mine (a very dark blue) was €120, mint, box and papers.

Left-field choice: a green-faced Vostok Amphibian for about £50.

This brand is very well though of and well below budget:-

https://www.heimdallr.watch/dive-watches/140-1005-...

https://www.heimdallr.watch/dive-watches/91-kermit...

https://www.heimdallr.watch/dive-watches/51-357-tr...

and so on. They have quite a few green dial options.

All good hacking and hand-winding auto movements, all with sapphire crystals, all waterproof to 200m.

I'm thinking of taking a punt on one or two of their offerings.

I'm struggling with pics, but the final one of those links looks terrific.

One of those green Kamasus are on my list but haven't seen one less than £300 yet

My three hand "gmt" Vostok arrived , expected full on Russian jankiness but it's a nice piece imo, has a certain charm, took off the bracelet and tried a few straps and have settled on a bund for now
