I ordered mine through the app and payments only released to the seller when I say I've got it. Hopefully I'll get my 11 quid back when it inevitably doesnt arrive.
I also used the app. I didn't know that.blue_haddock said:
My steeldive is also saying delivered but I've not received anything.
I'm still off work at the moment so I have time to chase them

If it was delivered to Coatbridge then that's the scam.

My Royal Mail tracking says it's been received and is working it's way through the system.....I'll look forward to seeing if mines delivered to Scotland also!I'm still off work at the moment so I have time to chase them
Pagani Design Daytona.
Very very very impressed for the money. The purists/snobs will hate it (but who cares). Daytona styling for under 50 quid will do me.
My first Chinese/aliexpress homage but won't be the last. Doesn't come close to my Steinhart (but at 6-7 times the cost i wasn't expecting it to). Pisses all over my 2 Armani watches which were easily double the price.
Braclet's a bit 'tinny' and pulls nips but can live with that.
Fancy the Corgeut Railmaster next.
Got some bits from CousinsUK for the Avi-8 today, a stainless bracelet - less than £4, the links are folded but done in a solid style with a double clasp with lots of adjustment. Also a new O ring seal for the case back after pinching the original a couple of times when I stripped it to do a bit of a clean up.

Actually I've just checked an my steeldive is still in China by the looks of it, but one of the other watches I ordered at the same time has been delivered from Burnham on sea, who h considering I'm in Shropshire is probably a bit wrong!Any idea if the scam is they send an empty envelope a random address hoping to get paid from it anyway?
Either way I don't think I'll bother with dh gate again

That's a great improvement to the Casio. Looks like new!
I've just ordered something that is completely away from what I would usually wear. Square, plastic (I assume) case, gold hands and batons, cost £3.27 delivered and it's actually a woman's watch.
I think that with the 18mm strap and 30mm square case it should actually be about the right size. Square watches always seem to look about 10mm bigger than their round equivalents.

I'm sure it will be a piece of tat, but it's a cheap experiment at that price to see if I like that style of watch.

I was genuinely surprised by it. As you say less than £50 gets you a lot these days.
Its also kept time very well for the few months I've had it. Never adjusted the time only the date.
I've got it at its maximum size and fits me well there. Not had any issues with it pinching luckily.
My first homage watch and I'm keen to add more now as they are cheap enough to not be upset if they are poor.

Yeah the vk63 movement seems pretty solid. No issues to report here also. Battery should be good for upto 4 years also depending on chrono usage. I was genuinely surprised by it. As you say less than £50 gets you a lot these days.

I've resized the bracelet using the microadjust and now it fits alot better, there is much less pinching.

Got one sitting n the eBay basket at £47, might have to get it delivered to my work though, other half is permanently working from home
Haha go for it. With any luck she'll be out the house when the postie drops it through the letter box Fallingup said:
I'm very happy with mine. On the downside, the bracelet was rubbish so quickly got changed. Also it's not the most legible of watches but I suspect the Daytona suffers from that as well! The pushers work nicely and the quality is excellent for the money.
Still considering a racing strap also. Googled curved ended straps and there was plenty to choose from - but at around £250 i think i'll pass. They must be for the real daytona! No anti-reflective coating and the silver against the white can make it quite hard at first glance to check the time quickly. Slight lume but hardly any TBH. At the price though absolutely no grumbles about those. Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
