Just popped in to say how much I enjoy reading everyone's contributions to this thread. Such a positive, friendly and happy corner of the internet indeed.

I haven't bought or sold any watches for well over a year, but I'm loving all the choices and the pictures (and the opera tales). Wow!

I'm still enjoying wearing my sub £200 Roue watches (SSD One and HDS One on a regular basis, and my sub £200 Seiko SKX013 on occasion. That might need to find a new home at some point, as does my sub £200 and somewhat polarising Welder Moody watch!

Keep up the good work everyone.
As tedmus said, welcome to our safe place/little bit of escapism, glad you're enjoying it, would love to see some pics of your watches!!

I'm wearing this today for the first time in over a year. It's my second after breaking the first, and I first got one when it appeared just over budget on the £50 thread (remember that?)

Quite small these days, but a little cracker.

Snap.
I sold mine at a small profit; liked it a lot, didn’t love it, didn’t wear it.

It was ridiculously cheap from Creation Watches (€73?)
It sat at +2 seconds/day whatever I did with it.

Anyone in the market for a field watch should definitely have a look at one.

Check out the olive green one. That’s the nicest Casioak I’ve seen, if a tiny bit Walty.

Order it and they take payment when dispatched. Think I waited a month.

Have you watched the YouTube Beyond the press channel test of one of these, good results for a 100m resistance rating.

I accept no responsibility for you spending hours watching their other videos… smile

So my 2nd watch has arrived in little under 2 weeks since the start of my “wearing a watch again” life.

Pagani followed by this beautiful Seiko from the bay 2nd hand. Cannot seem any blemish at all, if the buyer said this was new I’d believe them and so far both watches have cost me 20% of this thread budget each. Crazy what you can get these days.
Bargain

Agree :-)
Just need to work out when I can wear it as even though it’s a £100 watch technically I won’t be wearing it weekends in the garden :-)

I've sort of got the orange one, I 'lent' it to dad about 2 years ago and haven't seen it since!
