I have a Tudor Heritage BB, how does the GMT compare for size?

I’m mulling Tudor GMT or a dateless Rolex Sub.
Same case, so same size as far as I'm aware??

Ah ok I thought they were smaller. If same size i’ll pass. Get Rolex Sub ordered (long waiting list) and an Oris 39.5mm for new daily.

DIY and duff prob not best plan for my Tudor BB.

Both the BB and GMT are 41mm, and I believe have the same lug-to-lug, but I forget that dimension. Both are around 14.5mm, but the GMT has its lugs chamfered down slightly, meaning it wears closer to the wrist and feels slightly less large.

I have a dateless Sub, and my ~6.75 inch wrists make it wear quite large, although it’s only 40mm, the ‘maxi case’ of the ceramic Rolexes makes them wear large, especially with a very flat profile on the wrist.

Only bit of advice I’ll give (and is only my 2p worth) I’m thinking of selling mine, once/IF my name gets called for the hulk waiting list, as I miss having the date more than I thought, although if you don’t mind that omission on your Heritage, then ignore me completely!

Edit for spelling... long day

In Bordeaux, one in the window and one in display case inside.

Very nice looking bit of kit. 3,650 euros.

How many people buy a GMT and not use the GMT hand?
GMT is a great complication for those with OCD since you can move the hour hand in 1 hr increments without stopping the movement. It comes in handy at least 2x a year (more if you travel into different timezones)

I live abroad but work UK hours and use the GMT complication more than I do the date.

If anyone is coming to Jamaica soon you could get one in the airport, but it would be best to pre warn them.

I’m here now and they bloke said he has one but it’s at his other shop.

The Indian guy?

Did they still have the Rolex Pepsi gmt 2? They’re going for a fortune above list.

I didn’t think the prices were that great tbh but he seemed willing to negotiate.

Yeah that’s him

There was a Rolex Pepsi, didn’t pay too much attention to it (out of my range!) is looked quite small though, are there 2 sizes?

Prices were all pretty hidden, I’m assuming the st exchange rate doesn’t help things

Out of the two I'd get a Rolly, selling here you can easily make back your money with a nice bonus on top. That bonus would pay for the Tudor.

Unfortunately I don’t know enough about them and this one just didn’t look right for some reason. I’m sure it’s real but it just seemed odd that it was there and there were no other desirable models that I knew of.

Mine's not expected till October now, was supposed to be June.

Shame really as all my abroad trips will be done after tomorrow, no need for GMT haha.

There is one in the window of my local dealer albeit with the fabric strap...tempting. How much does a metal strap cost I wonder.

I got a Tudor BB ETA bracelet strap for £600 (the jeweler didn't add a mark up either). So probably expect something along that line?

Still tempted myself.

I can get one on a leather strap from an AD here in the UAE but ideally wanting the SS bracelet.

Costs are a littler higher than the UK, but there is scope for some minor savings. I just know if I went with the leather strap, that I'd be ditching it for the SS which would then cost me more. Will probably hold out.

Tempted by the 58 too.

Comapny on Instagram has messeged me they have a GMT and 58 for sale, both well over 3k euros.

I called Rolex HQ the other day to see if they confirmed what my AD had told me. Both are saying October delivery now.

Much as it pains me to say it as someone with one for sale, be prepared to have to deal with the date issue. Not Rolex' finest example of QC.
Otherwise the watch is a gem.

What is the "date" issue?
