Looks stunning in natural light.
First impressions?
Still awaiting the call on mine. I may put it straight on a tan leather strap. Not sure about the riveted bracelet.
Yes agree, I went outside to take a shot as it looks really nice in natural light.First impressions?

First impressions, it looks very classy in the metal the muted pepsi bezel looks fantastic as apposed to bright and shiny colours. The whole thing feels well made and i find it wears comfortably.
The 48 notch bezel feels weird compared to other watches I have with a 60 or 120, it almost feels clunky by comparison to a silky 120 notch but its a GMT so 48 makes sense.
All in really happy with it.

Unless I am mistaken it's a snide GMT ?
Same company, They make Rolex for people who want to say they own a rolex and Tudor for people that like the look but aren’t bothered about or don’t like the Rolex brand.
Pretty clever marketing really. People that want a Rolex aren’t going to be happy with a Tudor and people that like the Tudor are often deterred by the Rolex image.
They’re making much the same watch with different branding depending on whether you like the Rolex brand or not.
Then they limit supply to drive up demand.

Do you mind me asking whether that was through a larger multiple or independent AD.
I am top of the list at my local independent AD. It would be great to get a call in the next day or so.
Do you have any pictures sideways on? Interesting to see how tall it sits on the wrist.

Here are some more photos, one side-on to show the profile. It’s definitely chunky but nothing compared to some other watches out there.

Overall, today is my second day wearing the GMT and still over the moon. Agree with the other comments that the bezel colours are more subtle and it’s all-round a very nice piece of kit.
Have ordered the black NATO strap with the red stripe to give an off-bracelet option, which I think will look fantastic against the black face.
Got mine on Saturday. Absolutely stunning watch. 70 hour power reserve, in house cosc certified movement with GMT function for 2800. In my opinion it's fantastic value for money.
Got the first one from my local dealer and they said they will get about 5 a year. I'd bought a BB36 in Jan and was the first to call to enquire about the GMT during Baselworld.

I really like the new Tudor GMT. Just had a look at their website and there’s quite a few on there I really like, I’m seriously tempted by a Pelagos. I also really like the 1926 as well, with the added bonus for me this was the year my parents were both born.
I’m not a fan of the newer Rolex stuff and I can’t afford the old stuff I like! I know the Rolex stuff is all top end, well made stuff, but it just leaves me feeling a bit “meh” (as does Tag Heuer stuff, and again, I like a lot of older Heuer models).
What sort of realistic discount could I expect from a Tudor seller, if any? I know Dom H always gets a mention, but I quite like the “shopping” bit of it. Maybe I could do a trip to London, but with my still broken leg at the moment, that’s realistically a few weeks off.

At the moment, on the GMT, none. They're being flipped at over RRP and there are people on waiting lists at the moment. In 6 months time I suspect it will have settled down and you might be able to get some discount.Eddh said:

Im surprised they are still being flipped.
When you use the stock check on Goldsmiths site quite a few shops are showing in stock.
That's incorrect, they definitely have none in stock for immediate purchase. When you use the stock check on Goldsmiths site quite a few shops are showing in stock.
If you check again, you'll see that it states "AVAILABILITY: Unavailable" at the top of the page. I think that the "in stock" bit on certain stores just means that they stock that particular brand in that store. It's certainly misleading though.

You can do a local store check on right hand side. For example Southampton sold out but in stock in BrightonIf you check again, you'll see that it states "AVAILABILITY: Unavailable" at the top of the page. "AVAILABILITY: Unavailable"
Call them up, they don't have this watch in stock.

Maybe its just showing stores who have it on there stock system. Probability sat waiting for someone on the list."AVAILABILITY: Unavailable"

I spoke to the manager at local goldsmiths a few weeks ago and he said Tudor are odd for stock. they wait ages for some then tons come in at once.
Also does the GMT on stainless come with a nato strap as well or have Tudor stoped that ?
