Something a Little Different...
Discussion
No apologies for the clickbait title.
But I thought I'd post something a little different today!
This watch was presented to my Grandfather 'Ted' Humphries for his 35 years of service working as a Station Master at Ludlow train station.
Unfortunately I never met or knew him as he died before I was born but this has just been passed to me after being gifted by my grandmother (who thankfully I did know!) for my christening many years ago!
Thought I'd break up the Seikos and Subs that dominate this forum!

What a lovely watch - the dial, hands etc. look to be in great nick, and as already said, you don’t see boxes & papers for most vintage watches either, but they are a nice thing to have.
For me that’s what watches are all about - extremely personal, and a family heirloom to help remember your Grandparents by.
Excellent.
