Picked this up for the wife, she as been banging on about having a watch with a green dial, well this came up on TZ on Friday. It’s only 18 months old and mint. The guy only lived in Derby so took myself up there today to collect it. Presented it to the wife,to say I am flavour of the week is an understatement. These 34mm green dial ones are quite rare in SS. Here is a picture

That's a lovely watch and present; love to see a grown up watch on a lass. Rare and striking when it happens.

That is lovely... and a refreshing change from the bling bling bling Rolex that seem so common.

It looks grey in the photo, but I assume it's the olive green.

When the sunlight hits the green face it like a sunburst I presume the other colours do the same, I bet the grape looks good

Very nice.

Those Oyster Perpetuals are the epitome of what I believe to be the historical ethos of Rolex - understated, practical, accurate, reliable, tough, versatile, water-resistant & 'just work well'.

And for all that the Subs, Daytonas, Explorers etc. get more hype, I think the sunburst dial finishes on these are a lovely thing to have.

This 100%

Understated indeed and effortless style. Not as shouty and obvious as the subs and gmts you see everywhere.

The men’s even come in the larger 42mm cases if the 38 is too small.

I know what you mean I tried the wife’s on and now I am thinking of adding the 36mm Grape colour, to my collection. I did not realise how big they wear, as all my watches are 40mm minimum

I'm tempted by the 39mm OP in white. I think my Mrs would wear it too. Looks much nicer in the metal than in photo's, it's a very soft matt white.

Well I mean it doesn't look like this, which is the watch it's supposed to be.

Put an offer on a Blue 36mm today instead, since trying the wife's on I think it will be the perfect dress watch for me
