Very nice!Is that what I think it is?
The bezel looks right, the hands are right, the dial is right. Is it one of the 800?

It’s the 376.0822, cal 1045 from the late eighties; the only auto, day/date, centre minute Speedmaster in a ‘moonwatch’ style case.
That's very nice and very helpful. I'm looking to get a "moonwatch" in the near future but there are so many variations. That looks perfect. Thanks for posting.Oz83 said:
Picked this up pre-owned as a full set. Seem to be plenty around. To the best of my knowledge it's the only current steel sports model than can be bought under RRP.
I reckon it's a bargain. Modern Rolex quality with maxi case, GMT movement with date, great lume and with the Polar dial it's something quite unique on the wrist. The only thing it's really missing is the glidelock clasp but the easylink works well and it's solid. 42mm might not be for everyone but for a summer/sporty watch I think it's perfect.
Also I heard rumours that it will be discontinued next year.
Gratuitous lume shot....

IIRC the production was about 2000 total with 200 being the bi-metal Italian version.
But only 800 left with original hands, dial, bezel, bracelet etc.?Is it a "Holy Grail" version?
I don't know enough about them to know, so genuine question.
Worth some serious money if it is.

The value has gone up, not that it was cheap to begin with, but in step with other ‘odd’ vintage like early Heuer, Speed 321’s, Zéniths etc. I’d say.

Love these on a rubber. I've tried one on twice at my AD and I need to pull the trigger I think. I wouldn't normally finance something so superfluous but when it's 0%, why not?Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
