My old Steinhart, now long gone, as is the car frown

Great watch however I just didn't bond with it, for my tastes it also wore a little too large. The design works as a 40mm (I've tried a Rolex GMT Master II) but not as a 42mm, IMO.

OP - Steinhart make decent watches, any one of them would make a great daily if you want to save the Tudor for weekends.

Absolutely love my Ocean One Black. Just had it serviced by Steinhart in Germany free of charge and they even paid postage there and back. Whilst there I had a cyclops free crystal fitted for around £25.

I like the look of many Steinharts and wish I had bought one instead of my Christopher Ward, but of the homages, I prefer the ones that do not have the Rolex type hands, just too obvious a copy/style point for me.

I am hoping to get an Aerospace Automatik at some point which I don't think is a homage to anything.

Yeah it was the "Rolex" hands that stopped me going for a normal Ocean One.

I love mine though I'm very tempted by a 39mm one.

Me Too;-)
I don't wear it often, but I like it when I do.

I reckon Steinhart’s best watches aren’t the hommages.

Steinhart makes some interesting non-hommage watches and their Marine range is excellent.

a better watch than Tudor imo and 1/4 of the price.

I run the new 39mm Pepsi , a great watch. not a Tudor fan they seem too expensive for the quality, I sold mine quite fast.

I hate "homage" but I have a few Rolex and cannot get a new Pepsi so thought I would buy it anyway, over the moon with it.
