Casio MRW200h.

Argos have them on offer at £9.99 but with delivery charge or collect foc. Amazon prime out of stock until the 18th but you can reserve one.

But don’t forget only the Sainsbury’s branches for pre paid collection.

How come not a single mention of Swatch-es for a durable, under £100 watch? I absolutely love their quality and designs, so much more than any Casio.

The Swatch flag is flown on the sub £200 thread, I’ve got a couple and another poster has just got a Night Flight...we’re with you!

That would be me. I was lucky with that night flight as I got it from Amazon warehouse undamaged at less than half rrp. Happy with the watch but WR rating is only 3 bar. They do a range of 200m watches with some interesting designs.

It’s good to see Swatch Speedmaster homage even copied the less than great water resistance, but I wouldn’t have any problems swimming with mine on and you get free battery changes!

Just seen this thread and ordered the Apeks watch. Absolute bargain, now at £67.95
With the Magazine's!
Thanks
Hmmm. After a few emails, Diver phoned me.
Apologising for the delays etc. Due to the Virus.
Anyway no Magazine in paper form available for now but the Watch is now posted.
Thank you, great service. I'm not bothered about the Mag I haven't dived for 20 odd years.
Watch arrived 3 days later. Boxed all good. Crown out on arrival.
Unfortunately, when I pushed the Crown in it felt very rough inside.
I have an Omega and a few Seiko's, so I'm no stranger to how it should feel.
Then on every revolution, the second hand goes backwards then forwards, in the same place, for one second.
Obviously loosing one second per minute.
Which is 24 minutes a day!
Where do I stand. The watch was a 'Free Gift'
But was the only reason I subscribed for the Magazine. It comes with a Warranty, but I dont want to go down that road as it came faulty.
I dont actually want to accept ownership under the circumstances.
I've sent an email and a text to Diver Magazine, but its a Bank Holiday. I know I'm jumping the Gun, but, where do I stand?

https://www.watch-band-center.com/watchstrap-h110-...
is the German retailer's Swatch page.

https://www.bablas.co.uk/swatch-watch-strap-finder
and this page to work out which Swatch and strap size you have

Wait and see what they come back with. The watch uses a Seiko VX42 movement which although cheap should be reliable. Maybe you've just got a duff one.

I know it has no jewels and is a cheap module, but should go for 10 years plus.
I retire in 5 years!
My 6309 with 7548 conversation (40years old now) is getting hammered at work so I thought this would fit the bill.
Astonishing to find a faulty new Seiko!
Yes I need to wait but I'm a little paranoid!
They were helpful before it arrived. I was wondering about the legal side because it was classed as a free gift. I paid with a credit card so that should help.
Thanks.

Great watch.
Looks great. Who needs a rolex?
Add a nato strap from ebay for £4.
Waterproof 200m.
You won’t want to change it.
This thread was solved a year ago. smile

That's a great watch.

I've got this on order for my father:

As it's back to holiday time again I'm looking for a replacement cheap holiday watch, I know the F-91W is the pinnacle but just want something a little different to the casio/GShock types. I have a £100 budget, it's got to be waterproof and a little rugged but not full on SAS military type. Any suggestions please.

I've never fully understood the holiday watch thing - why wear a nicer watch at home/work than during one of the more special times of the year...?

Quite a few reasons.

The main one being it’s an excuse to buy a new watch.
Perhaps one’s daily watch isn’t water resistant, should the rented chateau have a pool.
It might be too nice (thief magnet) for unfamiliar salubrious surroundings
Or maybe look good with a suit, but a little OTT with shorts and flip flops. Perhaps a bit of colour to express one’s playful, relaxed holiday nature.
It’s often more agreeable to wear a bracelet or a NATO band rather than a leather strap.
