My green sub has come off the peak of the frenzy of 6m ago.
I for one am glad.

I've reduced the price further by wearing it - Shock. Horror.

And to further reduce value I've gone and put a strap on it.....

Not a bad selection at my local dealer. Actually amongst the 5 that are within 3km of me three of them get relatively good turnover of stock but two of them are baron. Regret not picking up the Air King they had a few months ago as I have quite wanted one for my son as a gift when he grows up.

Has anyone managed to get hold of an Oyster Perpetual in 36 or 41 will a colour dial yet?

I know the champagne and the black ones are about, but I'm talking dark green, either blue, coral, yellow or even pink in the 36.

Still no word this end on a green 41.

I've been told 12 to 18 months for a Tiffany dial 41, I put my name down 2 days after release.

Got a dark blue 41 within about six weeks of release, could have had a choice of black or blue 36 and 41 at 4 weeks but the nephew was unsure of which he preferred and went over to try some sizes.

I do have a good spend history with that AD for what it’s worth.

Yeah, same here, had four Rolex and two Omegas off them, but still no joy on the green OP.

How's the blue 41? Interested to hear thoughts on sizing from an owner.

It was for my nephew's 18th and he's pleased with it! I don't think it wears drastically bigger than the 39 looking at it but it's a very modern looking watch in a traditional design. Personally I think it's a success.

I was offered a Sea dweller which I took in December after only about 4 months. Not exactly a red hot steel sports but not the sort of thing you see in the window either.

I got a dear John email this morning laugh

Dear xxxx,

Thank you for your email.

Our store is closed due to the pandemics, for now we have an information that it will stay this way at least till the 1st of March. Closer to this date the government will reevaluate the situation and issue new recommendations.

Concerning the GMT Master II ref. 126710BLRO is a very demanded piece and the waiting list is very long, we don't have any available at the moment.

Have you thought about any other model as an alternative?

Kindest regards,

Not a terrible response. Do you have a back up plan?

Nah, no plan at all. I wasn't expecting them to sell me one but figured no harm in asking while its lockdown / financial crisis / everyone going mad here.

I don't particularly want another watch as I'm trying to be careful with money because of Covid, but if I could get one I'd buy a new one and sell my old one at a profit.

I guess my 20k'ish spend over several years isn't enough to get me anywhere near a new in demand one laugh
