I’ve tentatively been looking for a blue dial watch that isn’t a Rolex. I would like to see one of these:

Has anyone seen it?

No help from me as no I haven't.

However, I've had the major horn for one of these lately too. Although I like the white face with the additional tan leather strap.

Lots of videos on YouTube. The strap change mechanism looks great and they look like they ooze quality.

Also, this might fit your bill:

I tried one on (the white face one though as above) and it was amazing on the wrist. Was in the sale at Ernest Jones and something like £3,900 down from £5,500ish but I bottled it in the end.

Yep, tried one on in Copenhagen - I really like it, and it's not a watch I've really looked at much as I usually don't particularly love roman numerals or square cases laugh

But admittedly it's a really nice watch, wears vert well and the dial looks great in the light

You've got the measure of me, I do like that Omega. The only thing that I am not sure about is the matte finish.

Definitely worth seeing in person mate.

I can't recall if it was on here or another forum where a couple of people were saying for brands like that it's best to buy pre-loved due to the value drop off?

I don't think there are many on the used market.

My initial concern is whether it's a bit of a lump, and whether there is the potential for it to have the appearance of a manhole cover on my wrist.

Tried one on in Meadowhall, but much prefer the white dial. Suits that watch better, is easier to read and just looks so crisp. I'v a large wrist but still looked ok Imo. The bracelet is lovely. And at 6k it's not silly money.

I like white dial watches generally, but it's a blue I want.

So; did you try on the medium version?

I generally like quite a chunky watch but with this I think I would lean towards the smaller one. Maybe because of the square shape? Don't think the medium has a date though.

Therein lies the problem. A daily wearer needs a date. Otherwise I would favour the smaller one.

The blue dial Santos is nice, and is relatively slim. The chronograph is bigger and chunkier.

My favourite is the Noctambule, the blacked out skeletonised one. Unfortunately it's £24K...

Incidentally, the Santos range is well shielded against magnetism, to about 1.2 milgauss. It's not something that they promote for some reason.

The Omega Tresor is also available with a blue dial. It's a bit shinier than it appears in photos, and well worth hunting down for a look.

Oh that's handy. I have a problem with all my watches becoming magnetised for some reason.

Needs a date otherwise yes.

I do always wonder about GSs though, it is a bit like owning a Lexus?
