I tried one on today.

Lovely, but far too large which makes it look a bit dated to be honest.


The medium size was much better, but no date and no blue dial.

Can't comment on the size as always difficult to tell in a photo but that watch just screams quality to me. It just looks so well made.

Think I mentioned earlier in the thread that I want the medium white dial.

I'm sure they do do a medium blue? Can you not relax your date requirement?!

Yes, it is a quality thing without a doubt. BUT TOO BIG. It looks like some sort of futuristic communicator wrist band. It's been said that nothing says ageing European homosexual quite like a Cartier and I feel that may be especially true of the big Santos. For the record, of those three conditions I am ageing and European.

The medium model is a superb looking watch. But at this point I do want the date function.
