Nice! Yesterday I replaced the tacky faux croc the my Goldfeather came on with a black calf skin.

And had the back off and found that its a June 1960 build, so quite an early one.

Humph. Eight more jewels than mine.

It's not about how many jewels you have, it's how you use them. biggrin

The bracelet on my latest Monster is really nice but I wasn't too keen on the polished bits. Decided to fit a Seiko rubber strap instead. It's very comfortable and makes the watch stand out more than the blingy bracelet. IMHO.
My pictures are awful. Really need to work on it.

Where did you get the NATO? I have one of these and that looks great on the dark blue.
It's a Timefactors navy blue - https://www.timefactors.com/tfnatog10coybrnavy.htm
Thanks for the link, seems availability is quite tricky?

That's lovely old thing.... is it a family heirloom?

How often does it need servicing? Keep good time?

Really like it.

Thanks! I bought it a couple of weeks ago - £183 + VAT and charges from Japan via ebay. So far it seems to have kept amazingly good time, up there with the most accurate of all my vintage watches (and way more accurate than my recent Swiss mades!) although I haven't quantified it yet. There are a few specs on the inside of the glass so I might get it cleaned but no plans to service it unless it goes wonky.

I think the online store is only open 1 day a week. Timefactors is owned and run by just one guy, it's my understanding that when his wife took ill a year or two back he restricted those hours so he has more time to look after her.

Brings back so many memories the Casio dual time. I had a number of different variations over the 80's and 90's.
