Ah, the Mykronoz Zetime!I backed that on kickstarter - great watch, good price (even lower now, but only silver with black or white straps?) - I've been wearing it for a good 18 months.
(won't post my normal background, as it is a family photo
I use the alarms most days......sometimes look at the weather or my steps etc, but I'm no athlete, I just like the watch. Pretty easy to change when travelling across timezones (make sure it syncs to phone), which is nice....or was, when I travelled anywhere!
Mine is the titanium finish with an aftermarket silicon strap. Have a smart black strap I've used with it for a couple of black tie events, makes it look quite swish too.
Battery is amazing - I usually go 8-10 days between charging, and if it does "run down", then the hands will continue to tell the actual time (you know - like a watch!!) for up to 30 days!

I have loads of straps. 2x metal different designs, leather Kickstarter one with green stitching, blue and black silicone, and the strap you see there is an after market one because I wore out the brown leather one if cams with.

I was an early Kickstarter backer. Got my watch in the first batch shipped.

Ah, the kickstarter straps! Wore mine out really....the carbon one was very smart (& now saved for smarter evenings!)I have loads of straps. 2x metal different designs, leather Kickstarter one with green stitching, blue and black silicone, and the strap you see there is an after market one because I wore out the brown leather one if cams with.
Made the mistake of getting a fabric Fullmosa one on Amazon - looked very tatty very quickly! Barton silicon one has worn well
Nice watch

I really like that idea, but when I was looking at those ticwatches the reviews were very mixed. How are you finding it?
I really like it and have had no issues with it at all. It's great when using Google Maps; it makes it so much easier. Being able to view and clear notifications on your phone from your watch is brilliant. I keep looking at buying myself one but I am put off by not really being able to try one on. I have very large wrists and would need a strap to be at least 22 cm long. Does anyone know ifit is possible to get them that long? I was looking at the Huawei GT2 but that is only 21 cm. Is it possible to put a generic strap on some of these watches?

I just measured the standard strap on my Garmin and it’s 23cm.jpringle819 said:

It's worth bearing in mind that some watches use their straps as are part of the reception system, meaning that if you want to replace it, the replacement needs to have aerials built in.jpringle819 said:

Looking at the spare strap that came with my gt2 it looks like a standard 22m type. h0b0 said:
Do any of you find the heart rate monitor makes your arm tingly and ultimately hurt after a while? I had to turn it off on my apple watch.
That’s your own fault for buying that piece of crap, everyone knows that Apple watches are terrible and built of recycled plastic... (ref Jenny thread) Not with my Fenix, the glass bit on the sensor gave me a rash on my Fenix 5 so I swapped wrist quite often, but the 6 has been fine.
I've had a couple of pebbles which were great but not well made (they both failed within 18 months), and eventually got into 'proper' watches.
What I really want is a smart strap, which a few companies have thought about but nothing really got delivered. I'm sure there's a decent sized market for a subtle smart strap, but obviously the manufacturers don't think so...

So far so good with the Instinct, the glass doesn’t protrude at all. Not so good with my previous Fitbit, it left a mark for a good while afterwards.Robotron-2084 said:

Vivoactive 3 with the dark bezel for last few years. Chosen as it, to me, out of the Garmin range at the time, looked the best with a suit.
Others at the time I felt were more sporty looking and didn't do work and play. As I wear it all day wanted the styling to be a bit formal.
Liking Davels Fenix above too.

I'm hovering over this at the moment. I've been keeping an eye on the price dropping on the steel strap, 46mm version but thought I'd check in.
I'll use it mainly for running, walking, cycling and if course telling the time...

But sadly I think MyKronoz have gone out of business a couple of months ago?
If it's true, it is a great shame as they were just about to release the new version 'ZeTime2' which was fully updated with AMOLED screen, better battery, better processors, better sensors etc and would have been a fantastic watch.
The other issue now is that there will be no one to update the phone App and it'll probably become unusable as Apple update the iOS and so on.
Are your watches/apps still working ok at the moment on iPhone?
