I accrued some cash from a recent birthday, I originally thought of buying a watch from my birthyear of '78 but anything I like the look of is way beyond what I want to spend.
I haven't got a piece with a blue dial, so ive decided on that. Im not a massive diver fan though could be swayed Im sure, but budget is £500 give or take 50quid

I quite like this Bulova, something a bit different

likewise, not many will have one of these from Direnzo, id put a leather strap on it.

Hamilton is the banker I guess, everyone knows....

and then Marloe Conniston and Farer Frobisher are a couple of other options, as well as a Presage. Where do I stop????? laugh

As people are bored I thought this might provoke some internet searching and maybe throw a couple of other ideas up.

Farer or the Hamilton for me.

I think <£500 I would actually be looking for a nicely designed and finished quartz rather than chasing the automatic movement (which by nature means less may have been spent on the case/design etc). Probably spend more like £300-400 too.

Looked at Yema Rallygraf at all? Looks black but is a very dark blue.

Christopher Ward do a few nice ones but they are £600-1000 any chance of budget creeping a little or maybe even 2nd hand? I know if you email CW directly they usually send you a 10% off code.

Steinhart another option, do a few nice ones including some Homage to Rolex etc.

I was going to suggest the new CW c60 sapphire. They regularly do £100 off which would bring it closer to budget and something that is fairly unique/looks really good.

Already have 2 watches from CW, so was looking for another brand
Also not a fan of the latest logo and branding

Yep I couldn't really give a monkeys about the movement, I'm looking at the visuals as you suggest
