Zenith did a great job on that A386, very sharp. My old one [1970 2nd series] is looking a bit tobacco-y in comparison but has a bit of charm nonetheless I think

I've been following that thread. Shrouded lugs, bead blasted case, white running seconds hand with lumed chrono "wings" and no date would be tempting should it come to fruition. If it's 100m WR then I'd prefer a 12h bezel with lumed 12 triangle though I'm not too fussed on that.
