Is it just the photos, or do all of them look very big the wrist?

As a man with tiny bird wrists, 38mm is the sweet spot for me. This counts out a lot of watches.

Today's 40mm example works OK because it has curved lugs and is off its standard metal bracelet, but my 38mm watches are better, and my old 36mm Omega Constellation is perfect.

By the way, it's the A. Lange & Sohne for me too. Lovely.

It's definitely the photos, they don't look that big in person.

Good! You have good taste (or more truthfully taste that appeals to me) . I'd honestly own any of those.

I've just bought a 39mm, and whilst I'm very happy with it, I couldn't go any smaller.

Mind you, if I had a 36mm, I wouldn't be able to see the hands, let alone what time they were telling!

I like the look of these. Is it quite thick though?

Wouldn't mind sourcing a proper 6536 with a brown dial but I suppose that's going to be $$$$.

It’s 11.9mm thick (tall) so not thick at all.

I like that.

Seems to be trading about 1k cheaper than rrp (brand new) on the UK grey market - is that just a reflection on the discounts on offer in dealers or am I missing something?

Wasn't planning on buying another watch this year, I've a Breitling Superocean 57 Heritage in blue arriving on Thursday for my Birthday, but this popped up locally, I went to have a look and walked away with it, its a 1972 Speedmaster MkIII "Deep Blue" immaculate almost mint condition for its age.
