I rather fancy a GS, but do they do one without the power gauge and, ideally, without a date? The latter isn't a show-stopper but the spring drive jobby offends me for some reason. And they've just discontinued the 39mm Spring Drive model I'd been eyeing up...
I’d like to track down one of these that isn’t going to be a high risk purchase, but never see any in the U.K. on Chrono24. It’s the SBGA031 - titanium version of the SBGA029 GS diver. I have the SBGA011 Snowflake (also titanium and the original “Seiko Grand Seiko” dial). I think it would make a neat pair as the “matching” diver.

Plenty of Grand Seiko 'Spring Drive' models without the power reserve gauge:https://www.grand-seiko.com/uk-en/collections/all?...
I don't mind the power gauge to he honest. It's the sort of thing I would find really quite interesting to look at, and see how many days it took to deplete and that sort of thing.
I think it's a nice idea that on some models, the power reserve gauge is on the rear of the watch inside the glass display case back.

Ooooo, i like that. I dont have a white dial/panda in my collection. How much is it? (Should it be)
Off the top of my head on a steel bracelet it's £3995 and on a canvas strap circa £3650, I could be a few quid out on that but not too far.I do think they will be seen in shop windows in 6-12 months time but as a new Tudor release there is currently a wait list, it was the same with the Tudor GMT and now without too much hassle you can walk in to an AD and buy one from the display.
My grandad despite having (edit: a wife,2 daughters ) & 4 grandkids said since I was little that his watch(his only real possession really)was mine when the time came, it was a seiko he'd worn daily for a good 50+ years but a couple of years ago he lost it. I'd pay good money to have that watch.

New omega chronoscope. Has some inner scales for measuring all kinds of useful things like your pulse or thunder distance.

I've got a bit of an obsession with Seiko divers. Not everyone's cup of tea but I would love one of these. Great film that they are associated with as well.
I'm assuming we can be honest without offending on this thread? If so I have to say that I find those watches exceptionally unattractive

Always tempted for a vintage 1970s one
Some lovely watches on here, The Rolex, they're not usually my favourites but this one without cylops, date, and FLUTED BEZEL! is really nice, bit less 'rolexy'
GS is ok if you like pink, but they've done nicer
The Dornbluth is nice, very traditional.
Always liked Hamilton, lots of history, and I do like the legibility of field watches.
The Alpina looks nice, I think I would be looking at the red 24hr hand when I wanted to know the time. :-)
And of course the A Lange & Sohne, and Jaeger le Coutre, Absolutely Superb!
My nicest watch is probably my 198?
Seiko, picked up from a collector market. I'll post it in the >£50 thread!
