For the day that was in it yesterday with the Artemis II launch and with tongue placed firmly in cheek I wore the PD-1701B.

I wish I'd thought of setting the date before taking the photo, as I hadn't worn it since January. laugh

Haven't posted for a little while as it has been very busy in the barn so....

1. Happy Easter to you all, hope you have a good holiday weekend.

2. Great progress update on the not so broken, nearly mended Skunk.

3. Gratuitous piccie of the trusty Seastar from the gym today, I don't wear it enough.

Greetings from Lanzarote guys.

Not so long ago I got close to selling this watch.

Glad I realised how good it was before it actually sold!

That Timex is very nice. They have a few that I quite fancy at the moment. Kitchen renovation is eating my watch budget though, sadly.

I do too. Might have to break my self-imposed (and completely pointless) boycott of American firms for that.

Surely it’s about time again that I bought another GMT watch, realised that I didn’t actually much like or need GMT watches, and sell it on at a mild profit.

That’s quite a nice one.

Ordered. It'll replace a GMT that got stolen.

I picked up two watches in the AliExpress Anniversary sale in March. This is one of them.

I've never been one who has been drawn to dive watches, and a lot of stuff from the last couple of decades has been too large or just too clunky for my own personal taste, so I picked up this classically styled Addiesdive for 41 blips to try it out. It's quite nice. How much time it spends on the wrist over the next 12 months will tell all I guess! smile

How's the crystal? I find the domed edges a very classical/appealing look.

I do think that Omega would do well to make the sapphire they do in that form available on the Speedmaster Professional, to get the look of the "proper" hesalite version with the sapphire properties, but as far as I know, they only did it on the First Omega In Space.

GMTs, I do have one, and it's a classic complication, but I never really find it something I need.

What kind of GMT is it?

Very similar to the Pepsi colour scheme Casio posted recently, I picked this up brand new for £35 including delivery on eBay.

I have a digital cheapo Casio but fancied an analogue one too for when the mood takes me. It's very comfortable to wear, easy to read and looks great.

Despite owing watches which cost four figures, I am just as delighted with this sort of thing and enjoy wearing a cheap watch as much as my expensive ones.

Those Timex GMT, very nice.

On Sunday afternoon I try to wear a more gentlemanly watch, something that I can enjoy for its self, something a little considered compared to the Tiktok 30 second world.

Due to this wonderful thread I have been wearing a 38mm piece of 1950s design retro goodness all for a little over half thread budget. It really is amazing what you can still buy within thread budget.

I have been very quiet on this thread as no watches have been incoming for over 3 months now!

Two new toys have been incoming instead, a PH answer to everything was bought two weeks ago (Jag gone replaced with an MX5) AND early tomorrow morning a telehandler is arriving. It is about 20 years old, has switchable 4 wheel drive and steering. Two things what a fabulous boys toy and what a potential for borkage. You only live once!
