A new diver for the Timex fanboys - the Deepwater Arctic, following their trend for improving specs and quality of what used to be crappily made dive style watches to move slightly upmarket.

I do like it, in black especially. Nice jubilee, timeless design - if maybe a little Seamaster Planet Ocean inspired smile
40.5mm case size will suit many.
But, firstly over thread budget - one to grab when on sale maybe. It's a quartz - you may or may not want this.
And personally it doesn't really give anything over the Ratio Freediver quartz I already have which has near identical specs (sapphire crystal, great finishing) for £75.

Been absent for a while as watches have had to take a back seat. Summer is coming and there are things to get sorted! I can see I'm not the only one with other projects, Lentils nice NC and Skunks... climbing frame? hehe

For me I've been tidying up this Honda CB750 for an upcoming trip to Amsterdam. It's not great in any single area, but is comfortable, sounds nice, looks good and after a suspension overhaul now handles reasonably well too.

I did end up selling my Longines though, £1500 which was the full asking price, and eBay's authentication system worked very well. I did purchase a replacement, and paid £170 used, something decent for knocking about in.

Looking forward to everyone's summer shots, sunlight always makes a new watch shine nicely.

I do like the look of this, very sharp. (over thread budget but hey)

Funnily enough it's a UK exclusive, and Canada too. hehe

Lentil, as much as I admire that Genta-esque Polerouter clone (please tell me it has a micro-rotor whizzing away inside), you've only gone and trumped yourself by posting a picture of an actual telehandler!
Any chance of bringing that one along to the July meet, so that we can all have a look?
(No, I don't mean the watch)

I must have missed the post about a meet? When and where is this happening? I'd like to get involved if it's possible? Cheers

I had one of their other recent deepwater models and i hope the bracelet on this one is better than the one i had. The actual bracelet was ok but i just cant understand why they wouldnt put a single microadjust on a modern watch. It was either way too tight or way too lose.

Was a bit of a let down as the rest of the package was pretty good.

Pretty pleased to have just rescued this from a pile of watches in a vintage shop. Looks to have never been worn. £50 which I thought was good.
