Bah, all too big for me!

Do like the look of that Nixon though. Reminds me of the computers and equipment seen in the film Aliens.

It's worn by Linda Hamilton in Terminator dark fate....
I get quite confused by all the functions and even setting the time is sometimes a chore for me.
Allegedly Nixon consulted with U.S special forces asking what they wanted.

It's a really simple to operate digital...much easier than a G Shock.

If anyone is interested in the Electricianz watches they currently have a 50% code for black Friday.

I've just picked up a carbon Z for £119 delivered.

Someone on here made me do it, I promise...

£70 for a GMT Master approximation. Usual highly acceptable Pagani quality (other than a slightly shonky bezel movement). And that's with the Seiko movement. Very satisfactory, at that price, well...

I know it's cheesy. Sorry - not sorry.

I bought a green right-hander one of these for a friend a few months back, but actually opted for the pearl movement over the NH34 largely because of the formers more detailed rotor, which I thought might be more appealing to someone starting their watch journey.

He's a hands on train mechanic and hasn't taken it off, going strong so far and not showing much wear. Think I paid £47 which I think is quite a lot for the money. Hope yours does well.

Some very tempting things on Ali but how do people pay, is it safe?

Any thoughts on the D1 Milano range?

Caffeine and machine have done a collab with them, like this watch and the Milano range!

I've bought tons of stuff using PayPal, including watches from Aliexpress and never had an issue.
The postage used to be tediously slow but has really speeded up recently. So much so that I usually remember what's in the post now rather than the surprise of a package arriving months down the line. smile

Not quite sure what the 'collab' is..? That looks no different from their existing Sketch model, which has been around at least a couple of years - they've simply stuck an incongruous CM logo on it. I thought the Sketch was still in demand, so they can't be doing it to shift surplus stock, so it's hard to see the point, it looks much better without. Cheaper, too

The Sketch is a hype watch that sells well, this colab helps get more money for both parties for very little extra outlay or risk.

I wouldn't be interested, but the base model was a hit for the brand who do some more conventional stuff too. Good for them.

The base model looks better and is cheaper. Can't see the point of the collab TBH.

Bought a few watches in the AliExpress BF sales. Do you guys get stung with the import/handling charges with Evri? I haven’t bought from there in years but fancied a few watches.
I think 2 are arriving today and then 3 others over separate days

Indeed.

Someone posted earlier that they'd been stung for duty/vat?

I've never had a problem. I use the AliExpress app and payment seems to go through a London based UK account.

Thanks, I’ll see how the next couple days go! I’ve just checked the app, the first one I bought is now saying 2nd-9th & the two I bought a couple days later and saying delivery 5th. Fingers crossed the arrive before I go back to London for work Thursday

You'll get stung if the item is over £135, something to bear in mind if you're buying a San Martin.

Nope. UK duties/taxes are paid at point of sale. Unless you're doing it wrong.

I buy regularly on AliX and all taxes are added at point of sale so there is never anything extra for the courier to charge for.
