My dads Rolex was proudly on my wrist at 0342 this morning when my first child (son) was born, few photos of him and the watch so when he inherits it eventually he will know its story. JP13 said:

Congrats - I’ve seen your posts on the expectant dads thread. Didn’t your little one arrive a bit early? If so, hopefully all going well. Nice thing to inherit, especially with that history. Great idea to photograph it with him
Thank you just 4 days early as was booked C-section on Tuesday. Drooles said:

It wasn’t a conscious decision but I had this on for the birth of both my young’uns. I was a little bit into watches at the time but not like now… this was the watch I wore daily and I had a nice watch for smart occasions and a watch for messing about with cars, sport, gardening. So the Tag ended up doing duties through many important instances in my life - it means the world to me (even though I know they’re not popular around these parts) and it only gets worn sparingly now, particularly if there’s something happening where I feel I need a bit of luck!
I won’t part with it until I give it to my boy on his 21st
Nice that. I wear my Tag aquaracer in a similar way. Solid watches in my opinion.
