270k… and some say SS Rolex are over priced.

It’s a beautiful thing, and I guess you’re unlikely to see another one, but I’d be frightened to wear it. My BIL got an Aquanaut chrono at list before the boom. Once the novelty wore off it became his daily beater… the. they went close to 200k and he just stopped wearing it.

That is epic, must be one of the first ones delivered?

How does it wear etc?
I’ve had it since December, it’s one of last years batch from the first raffle allocation.

It wears really well. Yes it’s tall but the footprint is quite small and the diameter is about 40mm. It’s very comfy and you soon get used to reading the time. Finishing is great, the glass case is superb.

Everyone wants to play with it. It’s the one watch I’ve got that people ask me to take off and let them have a go with.

I wear it way more than I thought I would because it’s really fun, comfy and I like watching it do it’s thing. It’s a really mechanical experience.

Haha that’s a comical price. What reference is it? Is it a perpetual calendar?

Ah, you went to the Patek event as well. I think I tried on much the same ones as you - although not the Rolex GMT. wink

To be fair, if I could afford gold trousers, I could probably buy a Patek or two as well. wink
