I know what you mean... I recently bought a jubilee strap for my oyster equipped Sky Dweller, I didn't think they'd let me as it theoretically makes the watch seem two years younger. However they did and I am pleased with the result. It's even more blingy.
I did the opposite, I bought a Sub bracelet for my Batman, thank God we all like different things (kind of) Following on from the "Incoming" thread, I've worn my new watch for a week so far. I was a little anxious as I'd never seen one in person so didn't know if I would still like the look of it or if it would be a comfortable fit.
I bought it to mark two occasions. The first occasion was a small victory after I had been made redundant a couple of years ago; I thought it would be a nice idea to buy a watch so I had something permanent. Secondly, I have always wanted to work in the railway industry and I managed to get into it at the end of last year.
The last occasion wasn't as relevant until a couple of months ago when I came across a watch I had never seen before. Something came up on Instagram and showed me an Omega that I thought looked lovely. I read the caption and saw it was called the Railmaster. How fitting... Anyway, here it is.
