There's nothing particularly odd in there, just the usual stuff Ebay include in such offers, like wanting it to be paid through a card or PayPal etc.

Any watch over £1,500 has the authenticity guarantee so it gets posted to them first to be inspected before being posted to the buyer. They also check the condition is as described in the listing

Works well for both parties as it helps sellers avoid being scammed too

Otherwise a very tricky decision might be required.

This has sold now and I’ve never posted a watch before, I believe Royal Mail only cover up to £2.5k, so does anyone have any recommendations for insured shipping?

Thanks

Go into the post office to send it. Royal Mail do a thing called consequential loss insurance to top it up. It’s super cheap, like around £4 up to £2500. If you google it the price list should come up.

Hope this helps.

Just sold my Speedmaster on ebay to someone who got the 10% discount .... RMSD was £2.5k max but then just used Secursus for the full value.

The consequential loss insurance is not to cover more valuable items.
