I get what you mean about the bracelet, I think the way the end links curve down more on something like a Submariner help hide the end of the bracelet link.

I don't swap straps any more, I used to but it turns out I'm incapable of doing so without scratching the lugs, so now I leave them as they are. I usually prefer watches on bracelets anyway.

It is such a great bracelet otherwise, feels really substantial. I too prefer bracelets generally and currently have it on a 1450 replica. Back of my lugs do reflect the amount of straps I have for it though .
