After a few days of wearing my dads 36mm Datejust decided to switch back to my "daily"

I watched a video on the watches of espionage Youtube this morning about Omega unit watches for the military etc after watching that I thought I need to put my Omega on

I love this watch, it feels quality, nicely built, nicely weighted and it feels tough, my Tudor GMT for example feels chunky on the wrist, the 36mm Datejust feels too small and more delicate.

I have the same SMP300, perfect daily, not too flashy, durable

The only thing I don't like is the lack of micro adjustment

I also prefer it to the newer model with the pronounced waves

Also a big fan of the SMP300

Mine is a 2013

It is the perfect daily watch. Solid build, good looks and very understated.

It is such a great bracelet otherwise, feels really substantial. I too prefer bracelets generally and currently have it on a 1450 replica. Back of my lugs do reflect the amount of straps I have for it though hehe.

Very nice thumbup

I realised I was about to smack my watch whilst doing a bit of light DIY (installing new washing machine).

When I put ratchet down next to watch, I thought "well if this isn't proper PH brand fanboyism, I don't know what is?". Hence picture posted.

Hmm. Been on this place for too long.

I'm not a fan of the newer one tbh would prefer to have gone older.

Bought a few years ago, never been worn. The strap isn't horribly made, but I don't think it's my style really, so back in the box lol

Have not had this on in a while. This is a solid and well engineered thing, with good finishing and the blue of the face and ceramic bezel are a lovely shade.

I like that, I would change the strap but love the face.

The rubber really freshens that up, good choice.
