Anyone else get the email about the raffle for the limited release of 35 of 2 different styles. Seem like quite staid versions to me.

Just picked up a nice one of these, have the black version which I love . So thought why not pick up a silver one.

G-shock Air in Rose Gold.

Have a couple of others too biggrin
I’ve just bought that one from watches 2U in the sale. £134 bargain!!
I’d liked it previously but wasn’t willing to pay £400, can’t argue at £140 biggrin
I just replaced my plastic strap with the metal resin version. Feels nicer to wear now.

has anyone compiled a top 10 most collectable or widely desirable g shock models? Hoping to start a collection beyond the handful of cheaper models that I have currently

Why not collect what YOU like, rather than simply collect what is deemed to be desirable by general opinion?

I get where you're coming from but still...

Does anyone know of G-shock / Casio / digital watches which have displays with as much info as the g-7700/7710 models with 3095 module? I wanted to get the 7700 but it's too small. I do love how much detail it offers and if it was bigger and had solar/multiband it would have been the perfect watch.

thats a fair point, perhaps I did not word this correctly.
Im talking about standout models with certain functionality etc. I have a look that I like but that would be quite a narrow window of models

No, I've decided my GX56-1AER is going. Even this morning it didn't make the cut. I think its because I've lost a little weight (8 stone) since I bought and the proportions don't quite work on my wrists anymore laugh

If anyone is interested in a rarely-worn boxed example with all receipts etc drop me a PM.

Yeah, that's the problem with most Gshocks I find. You have to either be 15 years old or really well built, Rich Piana (RIP) kind of well built, to be able to pull it off without looking ridiculous.

Depends on the battery - or could be a capacitor if solar powered?

I thought mine needed one, then remembered it was solar (in fairness I have about 2 dozen watches). Left it on the windowcill for a day and it's good as gold again smile

My original Tag F1 from 1990 looks like a small woman's watch on my wrist now
