Does anyone know of G-shock / Casio / digital watches which have displays with as much info as the g-7700/7710 models with 3095 module? I wanted to get the 7700 but it's too small. I do love how much detail it offers and if it was bigger and had solar/multiband it would have been the perfect watch.

Why not collect what YOU like, rather than simply collect what is deemed to be desirable by general opinion?
I get where you're coming from but still...
thats a fair point, perhaps I did not word this correctly.I get where you're coming from but still...
Im talking about standout models with certain functionality etc. I have a look that I like but that would be quite a narrow window of models
No, I've decided my GX56-1AER is going. Even this morning it didn't make the cut. I think its because I've lost a little weight (8 stone) since I bought and the proportions don't quite work on my wrists anymore
If anyone is interested in a rarely-worn boxed example with all receipts etc drop me a PM.

Yeah, that's the problem with most Gshocks I find. You have to either be 15 years old or really well built, Rich Piana (RIP) kind of well built, to be able to pull it off without looking ridiculous. If anyone is interested in a rarely-worn boxed example with all receipts etc drop me a PM.

How much am I looking at for a new battery?
Depends on the battery - or could be a capacitor if solar powered?I thought mine needed one, then remembered it was solar (in fairness I have about 2 dozen watches). Left it on the windowcill for a day and it's good as gold again

My original Tag F1 from 1990 looks like a small woman's watch on my wrist now
