Brocket Hall has some risks associated with it, lets just say the golfers that day weren't entirely accurate with their drives while I was moving an SLS into position up near the house...

It's quite a nice location but unfortunately you're in range of wayward balls.

I wasn't aware it was that sort of photography.

Hanbury Manor off the A10 at Ware.

A couple of nice backdrops could be suitable?

i understand that i am technically in the wrong area forum but...

if anyone wants to use the grounds of a large private estate in Stanmore (8 miles south of watford) for any pics then let me know. its private (during weekends) so would mean that not many people would be around.

i live here (unfortunately its not mine)so drop me a PM if you want more info.

would best suit someone looking for greenery, trees, 1800's mansion as a backdrop.

Dave.

Hi Dave,

Sounds brilliant. I think we're going to concentrate on dynamic shots for this one, but worth bearing in mind for the future. Bound to be of interest for others.

Is the warehouse big enough to film in? I'm moving to video, and a grungy warehouse would have excellent look, and more importantly audio quality to film in.

I've just invested in a high end dedicated sound recorder and I'm desperate to try it out hehe

I would think so, the issue you will have is lighting (unless you have continuous lights to bring in as) thats not much natural light (which suits me as a photographer).

I was thinking hiring some monoblocks would work, but now I've actually put some thought in it you're right, you'd need a LOT of light.

Still, if you end up using it with anything exciting sounding drop me a message, I'll bring the sound recorder anyway biggrin

Other people's I'm afraid. It's a series of road tests for a friend's website (http://www.racingandwaiting.co.uk/).
That magazine was a really good read, genuinely mean that. Shame there's only two issues though!
