Yes, it has a ford - so I can wash the underside of the Range Rover
I've already ordered 80/20 FTTC (I used to work at the ISP) and I expect about 53MB. There's a shop in the village, a Nisa Local or some such.
Oh bugger , could have done with finding that for lunch , local told me no shops .I've already ordered 80/20 FTTC (I used to work at the ISP) and I expect about 53MB. There's a shop in the village, a Nisa Local or some such.
Hi
We live in Alconbury, nice village, great local shop run by Pat, he's turned it from a right hole into a thriving business.
A1 can be noisy when wind blows in from that way, but we're promised a quiet surface treatment when the new road is done.
The White Hart in AW sadly closed down, we used to walk to there rather than go in the Manor which is nice but can be a little clicky, some have lived in the villages all their lives and don't really mix with newcomers. We've been here 14 years. If you do fancy a pint drop me a line though.
The sports and social club is ok with a good selection of sports to join in if you're that way inclined.
The truck stop at the top of the Hill can cause issues when trying to exit the area at certain times of day especially if you get stuck behind a lorry going up the hill.
All in all it's a nice place to live.

If thats the village i am thinking , does it have a ford you can drive through in the middle of the village ? If so you will need to get on fttc broadband as standard out there is terrible ,the telephone exchange is miles away in a place called woolley . Nice village but no shops !
Full fibre optic broadband now, for the last 2 years or so.Gassing Station | Herts, Beds, Bucks & Cambs | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
