Check it out, lunchtime and evening news today (wed 24th may)

Local residents "lives been made a misery for years" due to noisey engine revving

serioisly wtf? The meets I go to there never have revving engines.

Mainly focussed on evening events, and the possibility of closing the car park in the enening with signage being fitted.
I would hope that our sunday morning meet would not be included.
Certainly our last event was quiet.........
Even had a 90 year old man and his wfe with a lovely old car turn up, and a military vehicle of interest. No problems at all apart from some noisy leavers???

I suppose the only thing to cosider about our meets is the fact that we do attract some odd throttle blippers through the town who should now consider this as an no go area.
If everyone can control themselves, then it should not be a problem.

Gadgit.

Looking at the enforcement notice, it's been in place since the 1st April

Shame a few tits have to ruin it for all. Nothing new though.

I had a fella at the last meet come and ask me what was going on. I gathered he was a local and didn't seem impressed by it all.

Our last meet in particular attracted a lot of positive attention from passing families and dog walkers.

Anyone concerned about the Order made by the Council should ask whether it actually existed as a legal instrument on 1 April 2017 as has been trumpeted (clue - it didn't)
