Hi All,

I need a chip removing from a MK3 Golf TDI ecu that is fitted into my MK2 Golf GTI (The car has a MK3 TDI engine conversion).

Because these ECU's weren't OBD2 flashable a chip had to be installed to hold a remap file. basically the file on the ECU was done for a different turbo and its not working well with my current set up.

So I'm looking for somebody to remove the exisiting chip and fit a new chip with a better file on it (current file requests too much boost so goes into limp mode)

However trying to find somebody these days that actually does old fashioned chipping is hard! I was going to travel to a company called Dirty-Torque but they got broken into recently and have closed down.

Don't want to pay Darkside Developments kind of money and Derv-Tech never got back to me.

its a stock MK3 Golf TDI ECU, but they cant be "flashed" via OBD2 so they have to have chips added to them.
