As many of you know, we have a regular a meet on the second Sunday of the month in St Neots.

Next month, 8th March, we're also going to stop at Nelson Lodge care home in Eaton Socon to brighten up the day of the residents, some of whom have worked in the automotive industry and so would appreciate seeing some of the machinery we bring.

There'll be bacon rolls and whatnot laid on by Nelson Lodge but it would be really nice for us to make an effort to get a decent turnout

The exact format hasn't been quite decided yet, but it'll still fall within the usual 10is to noonish timeframe.

Would be appreciated if you could post if you're coming so we know how many rolls are needed (numbers are needed a week before to ensure we have the right quantity), and ideally what you'll be bringing (if you know).

same time and place as usual. We've postponed the Nelson Lodge thing

Riverside car-park, St Neots, 10:00 to noon.

Can anyone come along?

Also, there's a meetup app I discovered a few days ago that seems pretty good. Might be worth adding the event?

Of course. The monthly meets are quite informal. Just like minded folk who enjoy sharing a love of things that move, make noise, smell and occasionally leak oil, usually with a coffee

Great! I've popped it in the calendar so I'll try and make it. Do you mind if I add it to that app I mentioned?

Unfortunately I can’t make this one due to work but would love to come along if it’s repeated in future!

Thanks. I've linked to this page so people can see what's what. Where do people meet before going to the lodge?

Bearing in mind this is in a residential area and a smallish private care home car park where residents suffering dementia and some aged over 100 I’m not sure posting on a Car Meet app is sensible I’m afraid.

The car park will be closed off and probably limited to 20 or so spaces.

Bumping this to see if anyone’s interested as Chef needs to place an order for Bacon smile and residents are looking forward to seeing something different.

I don't live too far away so will do my best to come. What time? Have you got a post code? I will not eat so don't worry to get me anything.

Thanks.

Due to the few responses I think the Nelson Lodge visit should be postponed until perhaps April when the weather hopefully will have improved and perhaps more attendees can be mustered?

Scratch the Nelson Lodge event, we'll stick to the Riverside carpark this month.

The junior park run has restarted so the centre area might be busy again.

When it's been like that, we've met to the left as you enter, near the now-defunct EV charging spaces.
