Beds/Bucks to get black metal number plates?

I’d like to get some fresh metal black with silver letters number plates.

Anyone know of any local places to get them?

I can buy online. But the stupidity of having to post off the original v5c and my driving licence in order to buy them. Seems some what more risky than would be sensible. Not even sure if the DVLA would even approve of such tactics. Yet I cannot find an electronic way around this. Which seems rather narrow minded, especially when you can do things like scan in cheques these days on your phone!

It's because they are in ireland, so they don't need to abide by the DVLA regs. same goes for fancyplates.co.uk and various others.
