Rolling road

I need a 1970 classic Mini ( carb ) tuned on a rolling road, anyone got any suggestions please?

Pete Baldwin, multiple Mini Miglia champion, now runs a rolling road out of here https://www.regency-autos.co.uk/ (just north of Cambridge) apparently after his own RR closed a few years ago. I’ve not been to this place but would highly recommend him.

There is MASS over in Gransden (near Caxton) who i have used in the past.

There is/was a place near Thriplow we have used in the past which was ok.

Northampton Motorsport get good reviews, cant comment as i have never used them.

There is one in Aylesbury that had a fantastic reputation back in the day, used to get all sorts turn up for the rolling road days.

I 'think' it has changed hands since then as from memory it was a Porsche tuner but the current owners have been there since 2003

If it's for a Mini then Peter Baldwin over at Cambridge is definitely the man to go to, very experienced at tuning Minis.

Thats a shame but then he is in his 80’s (i believe). I think he was training the guys at the cambridge place.

Anywhere that still deals with carbs should be ok though. All the ones i listed do but depending on where you are based, and given Pete has retired, you could probably find someone closer to you. Might be worth giving minispares a call and seeing if they can recommend anyone.
