They weren't "replicas" they were some of their older race cars. Free event it was worth a watch.

sorry, i used the term loosely
they're a collection of old and spare parts from various seasons and iterations
running extra large radiators, long steering racks, raised suspension ( so substantially compromised aero ), cold temperature brakes etc
worst of all, they understandably run at half revs, although they still sound better than the current real cars !

still possibly the best thing to happen in cmk thumbup

I went to both events the one 10 years ago and the one this year enjoyed both especially as they were free. But yeh they were Frankenstein's monster of cars.
