Nothing as exciting as a McLaren or anything but I saw a Suzuki Kizashi in Hockliffe this afternoon.

Never seem one on the road before but looked really rather smart for a mundane Japanese saloon.

Apparently handles rather well too. A bit of work on the engine to release some power and it would make a tidy little runaround I think!

Who here owns a dark coloured Subaru Forester with a discreet PH smiley on the boot lid?

I have spotted you a number of times heading towards Ampthill area.

Leighton Buzzard Bypass - Black Porsche GT2
I would take a punt on that being Mark Webber.

His restrauant is local and iirc he has a black GT2.

Silver
I will keep an eye out, you seem to frequent similar roads around the area to me.

Thought I may have spotted you yesterday at the bottom of the Downs around 16:45ish...

If one was light blue and the other black, then the blue one was me. Don't know who was in the black one; it tucked in behind me after the roundabout. Foreign plates and a pleasant couple who gave me a wave as i turned off.
Little bit famous this month gbbird?

I see you were 'published' in a top motoring tome wink

Bright white BMW i8 pulsing Leighton Buzzard yesterday morning.

It looked amazing and alien against the 'normal' traffic.

Something very large at high altitude coming across the skies of Bedford early this morning, not sure if it was a B52 or Antonov but the wingspan was large and the trails it left were expansive!

I live near Huntingdon and have often seen something massive with a very distinctive contrail around 13:30 going roughly south-north. Binos just show a great lump of an aircraft with a high tail so I think it must be a big transport on a regular run - C5 or smaller C17. I keep meaning to try the Flightradar site to see if it pops up but am usually out with the dog at the time! There are some A380s that cross our region and they leave a big trail but have a low, normal tail section.
It was patchy cloud and I didn't have much chance to see it properly but the contrails were definitely wide and it 'looked' bigger than a 747 even though it was at high altitude. From the contrails I immediately thought it had more than four engines.

Without binoculars or flightrader I was left to my own fevered imagination, will be watching the skies closely from now on!

Saw this today on the A5 near the Dobbies roundabout. Looked and sounded lovely.

Isn't that the one that used to be run by Nick Trott? If not, trying to remember where I've seen that registration before
Think his was Y123 MCL, one of the press plates.

You might just recognise that plate from driving around, it certainly seems to get used properly! smile

A potent, snaking train of lovely cars buzzing into Stanbridge early this morning.

Lovely looking red Audi R8, a red Escort Cosworth (not seen one of those on the road for a long time!), a lovely blue classic 911, variety of hot hatches and a Mini Convertible!

Brightened up my commute to work smile
