^That image made me realise india recently took INS viraat (ex HMS Hermes R12) of 1940s vintage and falklands veteren out of service. It looks like she is still afloat and going to be scrapped, we should all have a club together on PH, sail her home and preserve her.

The F-35 launch is intended for Friday, weather dependent.

Not idea on actual time yet sadly, but I'm trying to find out.

That pic misses a few out, although Americ, Jaun Carlos and Hyuga are more more multi purpose assault ships, and Thailand have retired their Harriers so thats a helicopter carrier now

Yikes, I hadn't heard about the fire, spread through the wiring apparently so presumably a lot of electrical stuff to be replaced.

25 mph westerly wind, and with Princess Royal Jetty being almost exactly north/south in orientation, that's a 25 mph wind straight across the deck left to right, potentially blowing a 'plane toward the islands. I can't see it happening before Monday now, as that is when the wind is forecast to die down a bit. Tuesday looks better, though, as there's a 10 mph NE wind forecast. I can't see them taking any risks with such an expensive asset, so doubt there'll be any mad rush to fly it off.

It'll never sail again; they're already having to fix a hole in the deck from when the dry dock sank a few months ago. With no dry dock either there is nowhere to do long term maintaince.
