Cool but IMHO Lego lost it when it started producing bespoke kits. It's supposed to fire the imagination into building something unique, not a kit that everyone else has...
Ah, but they don't stay as bespoke kits for long. Ours simply get broken up and end up in the huge Lego box to be built into anything that captures the imagination.
But the problem with the modern Lego is there are too many specialist / shaped bricks nowadays.

My point exactly ;-) If you want to replicate VW Camper or Unimog do it with normal "Flatties, Threers, Fourers" etc the real Lego way

Outstanding and as has been commented, is there anything you can't build out of Lego?
If the model can be made big enough it's probably a question of putting the geometry into a CAD package and 'pixellating' the crap out of it until you get an acceptable approximation of whatever you're building. Then building it up according to the CAD model.

I hate that engine with a passion that can only come from it consuming far too much of my lifeforce!
