Cool things seen on FlightRadar

I saw the same plane. I heard it first and it sounded exotic. As it went over I thought it could have been an Adam A500 due to the large flat tail wing, but think you are right. The sound was more jet engine than prop

It didn't show on ADSB exchange.

Really impressed with whoever is flying the glider I'm looking at.

It's flown over 60 miles into the wind away from it's origin and has now turned round and is at over 3000ft on a meandering course back

I've seen them around the local club but didn't realise they could get so far, and back again

It was a Hurricane, a Dornier Do-28 and I didn’t get a good enough look at the 3rd plane. I assume either another Hurricane or a Spit though.

The third aircraft was a Harvard. Here's a pic from onboard the Dornier (a mate of mine is an aviation photographer and regularly uses the Do-28 as a camera-ship).

A couple of US spy planes/UAVs been out and about high over Eastern Ukraine. One from East Med and one from Malta. Now heading back together. There was an RAF Rivet Joint that way earlier.

We had a vampire visit the local airport a fair few years back. Was great until it went to leave. On take off thrust it ripped up half the runway putting it out of action for a good while!

The ex Robs Lamplough P-51 he found in a children's playground in Israel back in the 70's, during restoration it was found to be a genuine WWII combat aircraft , the personal mount of an ace.
Now owned by Robert Tyrrel (sp?), who as you say has an airstrip at Steventon

I can't see it on Flightradar now, but a short while ago I'm sure a Short Skyvan flew directly over my house and crossed the coast on a heading that suggested France, or the Channel Islands.

Anyone any ideas why a US plane would come all the way down from Mildenhall and circle a little French village in Southwest France ??

Headed into Hurn and apparently did some parachute drops. Think it's still there now but not 100% sure.

Quite common to be used for parachute training out of Brize to cover the shortage of larger aircraft to train from. Appears to have been working with the chaps based in Poole, maybe into stud land bay?

Local FB group has it dropping just by the airport, into a sports centre apparently: I heard it chug past, didn't see it, though.
